October 17, 2012

This week has been wonderful. We went to Rome for Zone Conference
yesterday and got to hear from the Kellys, all of the new and
departing missionaries, and the zone leaders and assistants. Five of
us who were together in MTC are in the Rome zone, so during the break
between the two sessions we told stories about everything that has
been happened over the course of these first few weeks. We were so
excited about everything...such greenies.

Wednesday - Vatican City, St. Peter's, Michelangelo's pietà, gelato, lessons.

Thursday - We went to see an investigator, Andreina. She's an artist,
has read parts of the Book of Mormon and deep down she knows it's
true, but she doesn't want to be baptized. She has a library
comparable to Dad's, filled with books about religion and the
Bible...so we're working with her. We met with a less active member
who wants to prepare to serve a mission, did some finding, and then
taught English course.

Friday - Weekly planning, first lesson with Carada, ward Relief
Society activity. I'll tell you more about this later.

Saturday - lessons with investigators.

Sunday - Say hello to the new ward pianist.

Ok, we're out of time. More next week!
