Christi thought of balloons on the mailbox with the "Grand Opening" anticipated later that evening.
Michael and Jenni came home. We had a brief song and prayer, watched "Called to Serve", Jenni talked about why she wanted to serve a mission and Michael shared some feelings about his mission. Then Jenni opened her call. As she read the words Italy Rome Mission, Christi and Cami burst into tears. (The girls all love anything Italian! They love movies, food, their dream vacation or study abroad, the scenery, etc....especially Christi who has even been trying to learn some Italian!) This was a dream come true for all of them! Huge hugs, tears of joy and lots of love!
A few calls were made, we ate pizza and frozen yogurt, and then Jenni and Michael went back to school.
It's amazing how quickly life can change. This is a great change!
